Today we are interviewing André, Collaboration Services Team Lead.
Q: André, tell us, what does your team do and what is cool about it?
A: We do message and collaboration in the Microsoft Cloud universe and it’s cool because it’s a constant change and new things, new products to discover. We help our customers to adapt and work in the hybrid work environment we all are currently in.
Q: What first comes to your mind when you think of your team/team members in Riga?
A: Currently I have only one colleague in Riga, and he is just great! And it’s not only about the personality, he is open-minded, hard-working too, flexible, Versatile. Great to work with him.
Q: How do you ensure that German and Latvian colleagues work as one team?
A: Communication is the key. Constant exchange, not just work-related topics. We talk together every day, discussing news, current tasks, and challenges, so everybody feels like a part of one team.
Q: How do you envision your future work with the Riga team? Here could be anything, short-term, long-term plans, new areas.
A: We have a dynamic environment here at q.beyond, and we always need to be ready and open for change. With time and experience, Riga will take more responsibility, but my goal as a team lead now and in the future is to make sure that all colleagues are happy with their work, no matter their location.
Q: What would you like to wish to q.beyond Riga employees and future employees?
A: Stay as you are and keep up the passion.
